About the Role:
- Coordination on all fronts including site visits, due diligence, documentation, Creating presentation pitch, market survey, One pager financial calculation, arranging meetings and planning calendar for various meetings.
- Basic knowledge on Real Estate including Chennai key markets, land transactions, DCR regulations and sales numbers and key markets
- Liaison with internal teams on various fronts related to continuous ongoing work
- Liaison with various external players in the market to work on the particular proposal and gather minimum required documents and other details including autocad drawings to collate the data for particular projects and work on same
- Proactively engage in business development activities with large scale Real Estate Developers users of Real Estate Capital
- These activities need to be undertaken through networking, cold calling, industry seminars, leveraging the existing relationships of other business units
- Operate as a primary point of contact for both potential & existing clients, thus, foster strong, focussed, and enduring client relationships
- Meeting the key decision makers at the developers’ users of Real Estate Capital Develop and execute parallel strategies for business development, working alongside Line Managers in the group
- Analyse a real estate project from debt financing perspective with understanding of RE accounting and project cash flows
- Analyse market data / trends, Sector mapping / landscaping, Prepare client pitch documents / teasers
- Conduct industry analysis, risk assessment & mitigation, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, preparation of transaction documents and conducting site-visits.
- Additional focus on developing and building capability in indirect real estate products (funds, securitisation, REITS etc)
- Participate in negotiation, due diligence and documentation meetings Developers and Financial Institutions
- Coordinate closing activities internally and externally
- Partner closely within the team and across business segments
About You:
- 8-12 years of experience in Capital Markets
- Hands on experience in real estate capital markets transactions is preferred
- Qualification: CA / MBA Finance / CFA
- Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, proven negotiation & financial skills with the ability to adapt to change
- Self-starter, Confident, Collaborative with ability to multitask and work in a team
- Attention to detail, strong bias for action and execution oriented
- Strong communication skill (verbal and written) with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of Management clearly and effectively
- Ability to work in team environment across business groups
- Real estate deal structuring from all aspect’s skill is must.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
