Makerble is cloud-based software that enables charities to change the world, faster. Working directly with our founder, you will support business development by identifying nonprofit organisations that would benefit from using our software. Our founder will then contact the nonprofits you identify to arrange meetings and demos. You will have the opportunity to attend some of these meetings and learn how to close deals.

This role is designed for someone who is curious, thorough and persistent. If you have good attention to detail, a strong desire to make the world a better place and the ambition to help a startup accelerate its growth globally, this role is for.

Although every charity, non-profit and social enterprise exists to create a positive impact in the world, most charitable organisations use old-fashioned systems to manage their work and measure their impact. Many charitable organisations still rely on paper forms and waste time doing manual data entry into spreadsheets.

Makerble brings charities into the 21st Century by modernising the way they work. Our software has CRM, Surveys and Data Analysis modules. It is used by charitable organisations operating internationally (e.g. Justice Defenders), nationally (e.g. Trussell Trust) and locally (e.g. Advance Brighter Futures). What these organisations have in common is the need to quickly create reports and dashboards that visualise the difference their work makes to people's lives. This is what Makerble makes possible.

You will be expected to use your own laptop in this role.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
