Job Title:Marketing Communications Specialist
Summary:The Marketing Communications Specialist must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of functions including marketing, communications, branding, digital marketing and/or social media. Day to day activities may include trade show and webinar project management and reporting, reviewing, and editing marketing communications content, building relationships with internal business and functional team members and working with third party vendors.
Responsibilities Include:
Brand and Digital Marketing Content Support
- Support Brand, Digital and Web content development needs. This may include drafting copy, or creating concepts for flyers, images, templates, etc. to support new or existing programs, activities, products, etc. for internal and/or external audiences.
- Establish and maintain digital library/repository of brand and marketing materials, including documenting and tracking stock photography licenses, internal images and releases, logos, presentations, etc.
- Ensure materials submitted through brand review process are consistent with brand guidelines.
- Document team processes, identifying areas for efficiency where possible.
- Provide research, data analysis, dashboards and reports as needed.
- Support social media, digital marketing, and general communication efforts as needed.
Trade Show and Webinar Support
- Support global trade show and webinar activities as needed. Potential support needs include ordering show services, literature and giveaways, event promotion and/or moderating/hosting webinars.
- Ensure trade show and/or webinar materials and efforts meet company brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to set up lead tracking and follow-up campaigns.
- Identify and recommend process and program improvements.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related fields
- 2+ years of marketing experience in a coordinator or similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask
- Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive and resourceful
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for effective communication in this role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within B2B marketing organizations and/or creative agencies, with emphasis on marketing communications, content development, program management and/or development of creative campaigns
- Experience interacting with stakeholders of varying seniority levels
- Experience thriving in change and seeing it as an opportunity for growth
- Knowledge of SharePoint functions and capabilities
- Digital webinar platform experience
- Project Management skills are a plus
