Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, maintain and update relevant information about markets and competitors. Supply market share data, perspectives on market trends and competitor activities, market forecasts, and pricing information. Provide analyses to support strategic thinking and operational decision making.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in the Marketing & Market Intelligence. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- University degree in engineering, Strategic Marketing, Sales or business management
- 5+ years working experience in Strategic Marketing, Sales and/or Consulting
- Prior experience of 5+ years in the Transmission & Distribution industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Thoroughness, self-motivation, accountability, analytical thinking, result-driven approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint - ability to synthesize information and present to high level stakeholders.

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- Masters degree in engineering, Strategic Marketing, Sales or business management
- Self-starter, strong team player and ability to maintain can-do attitude in all situations
- Successful experience of working with multi-cultural teams, displaying inclusive behavior with success in remote relationship.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Demonstrates curiosity and passion, continuously seeking new information sources to enhance knowledge and understanding of market dynamics.
- Proven ability to generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo, leveraging insights from external publications and market analyses
- Excellent skills in presenting and reporting complex information
- Understanding of energy sector, grid solutions and/or B2B environment is a plus.
- Salesforce.com experience appreciated
