Job Description

This role sits at the intersection of front-end development and marketing technology, requiring strong JavaScript capabilities to enhance, customise, and troubleshoot dynamic web components integrated with marketing platforms.
The role will work on a variety of personalised web experiences including form customisation, dynamic content loading, API integrations, and behaviour overrides — using JavaScript as the primary tool to solve problems and implement creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
JavaScript-Driven Web Personalisation:
- Build and extend interactive web pop-ins using JavaScript in personalisation tools (e.g., Digioh).
- Override default form behaviour to support dynamic functionality like expiry timers, conditional rendering, and score-based image swapping.
- Parse encrypted query parameters and tokens to personalise landing page content.
- Incorporate third-party or remote data (e.g., dealer lists, product lookups) into forms via asynchronous JavaScript.
- Implement client-side tracking and event submission using custom JS logic in coordination with personalisation tags (e.g., P13n).
API & Integration Work:
- Fetch and handle remote data using RESTful APIs within JavaScript-driven experiences.
- Work with JSON payloads to populate form elements and build dynamic UI elements.
- Bridge the gap between client CRM systems and the Zeta platform using front-end scripting where required.
Technical Troubleshooting & Investigations:
- Debug issues with form behaviour, lead delivery failures, or API responses using browser developer tools and techniques such as network inspection and console logging.
- Investigate and resolve anomalies in dynamic rendering, scoring logic, and tag-based tracking mechanisms.
- Assess new or unsupported client requirements and devise feasible JavaScript-based workarounds.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience in front-end development with a strong focus on JavaScript
- Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), including async/await, event handling, DOM manipulation, and browser APIs
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling authentication, error states, and data formatting
- Solid HTML and CSS skills for customising and styling interactive components
- Familiarity with browser dev tools (Chrome/Edge) for inspecting issues and testing scripts
- Experience implementing custom business logic into web forms and overlays (e.g., Digioh or similar platforms)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience using JavaScript in a marketing context: web personalisation, form tracking, user targeting
- Exposure to customer data platforms or marketing automation tools (e.g., Zeta Marketing Platform, Adobe Target, etc.)
- Experience mediating API interactions via orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) or writing client-side logic to handle fallback flows
- Knowledge of encoding/decoding encrypted query strings and URL-safe tokens
- Familiarity with campaign-based tools like Push Planet or CMS-driven landing pages
