You manage the media agenda in a particular geography.
How you will contribute
You will help execute the media strategy in your assigned area, business unit, country, or category. In partnership with the marketing team, you will implement a media plan and assess the effectiveness of that plan with a focus on return on investment. You will also build relationship with agencies. As a particularly advanced digital marketer, you will help drive our understanding and use of digital platforms in our marketing plans and be a source of learning and development for the wider marketing function.
What you will bring
Marketing Communication Planning (E2E)• Design the overall Consumer Experience journey of the BU/ market and ensure the implementation of the media E2E strategy (includes planning, activation, evaluation and optimization)• Ensure consumer experience Journeys are grounded in culture & integrate latest consumer experience trends• Ensure creative assets are delivered seamlessly and coherently throughout the entire consumer experience journey• Develop holistic working media investment strategies and integration across paid, owned, earned media• Manage total media budget and related efforts (all media planning and buying regardless of channel). Includes:• Leading the integrated media briefing process: ensuring agencies are onboarded effectively and provide high-quality plans• Drive effectiveness & efficiency of the campaigns to optimize ROI• Allocating and prioritizing across retailer accounts for optimization and ROI• Partnering with Media Procurement to deliver aligned goals such as media productivity, savings, and other key financial deliverables• Actively seeking ways to optimize JBP investment and consult on best practice across our consumer experience community• Ensure Empathy@Scale is at the heart of key campaigns and considered from the outset by Marketing and Agencies in the creative process• Ensure best practice and adoption of E@S both externally and internally• Support BUs / Market to adopt Mdlz media principles, regional brand guidelines, T&L agenda and media compliance
More about this role• 7+ years in consumer experience, media leadership roles, ideally with a well-rounded exposure to planning, digital and investment .• Experience working with complex markets, brand marketers, agency partners and senior stakeholders (includes JBPs)• Marketing Communication leadership (e.g. strategy, POE planning, plan optimization, trends adoption)• Consumer centricity• Media investment expertise e.g. efficiency & effectiveness (ROI), cost optimization and sufficiency, media compliance• Ability to distil and share media best practice within the consumer experience and procurement communities• Media compliance• Supplier management and governance (partnership excellence) e.g. agency & digital partnership management and governance, WOW stewardship, cross-discipline excellence, transition / onboarding operations• Retail media excellence• Unified brand experience through seamless creative assets delivery• More personalized campaign through Empathy@Scale approach
