As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.
Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 10 years in IT, with 5+ years as a senior technical architect or lead.

• Design and implement migration architectures for large organizations (10,000+ seats, multi-geo environments).

• Develop migration roadmaps, high-level designs (HLDs), playbooks, and executive summaries.

• Lead enterprise-scale migrations from legacy platforms (Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, file shares, SharePoint on-premises) to Microsoft 365 services.

• Optimize network and performance (e.g., direct internet breakout, Zscaler, ExpressRoute).

• Provide architectural guidance for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Power Platform.

• Ensure integration with Teams, Exchange Online, Viva, Intune, and endpoint management solutions.

• Mentor delivery engineers and manage project risks.

• Collaborate with identity/security teams on Conditional Access, DLP, MFA, and Information Protection.

• Design and enforce governance frameworks, retention policies, and compliance solutions (eDiscovery, Insider Risk, Purview).

• Advise C-level stakeholders and simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.

• Drive user adoption and change management programs.

• Lead workshops to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business goals.

• Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.

• Hybrid coexistence design (mail flow, GAL sync, free/busy).

• Familiarity with third-party migration tools (Quest, BitTitan, SkyKick, ShareGate, AvePoint, Mover).

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), AAD Connect, Pass-through Auth, Federation.

• Experience in development, migration, and architecture (2013/2016/2019/Online).

• Proficiency with document libraries, lists, metadata, permissions, site collections.

• Workflow development (Nintex, InfoPath), external system integrations (SQL, SAP, REST APIs).

• PowerShell scripting, PnP, CSOM for automation and reporting.

• Deep understanding of OneDrive for Business architecture, sync client, storage, sharing.

• Experience in endpoint integration (Intune/Endpoint Manager), networking, and performance optimization.

• Design scalable Power Platform architectures and migration strategies.

• Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports.

• Integrate Power Platform with SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure services.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Preferred certifications: MS-102 (Enterprise Administrator Expert), SC-300 (Identity & Access), SC-400 (Information Protection), MS-700 (Teams), MS-203 (Messaging), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), MD-100, MD-101, MS-100, MS-101, MS-500.
