Assist the Lead Guide in planning and delivering virtual Montessori lessons, observing children, preparing digital materials, and communicating with parents.
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Lead Guide with a Montessori background either through hands-on Montessori classroom experience or successful completion of Montessori training/exams.
This role is fully remote and will support our Lead Guide twice a week, helping to deliver Montessori aligned learning, provide virtual guidance to children, and support lesson planning.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Lead Guide in planning and delivering virtual Montessori lessons.
• Assist with demonstrating Montessori activities using digital tools.
• Observe children virtually and provide feedback on their development and engagement.
• Prepare simple digital learning materials following Montessori principles.
• Communicate with parents on expectations and progress updates (as directed by the Lead Guide).
• Maintain a calm, child-centered, and supportive virtual learning environment.
Requirements
•Montessori background through experience in a Montessori classroom or by completing Montessori certification/exams.
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child led learning.
• Comfortable teaching and presenting to children virtually.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Access to a stable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.
• Availability two days per week (flexible hours depending on class schedule)
• Experience with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
• Ability to prepare simple digital Montessori materials or presentations.
• Warm, patient, and child-friendly teaching approach.
