Job Summary
Responsible for extracting knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques, which may include the use of advanced statistical analysis, algorithms, predictive modeling, experimentation and pattern recognition to create solutions that enable enhanced business performance. Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. The team is composed of experts in artificial intelligence, deep learning, data-structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and system performance and analysis. The systems that the team builds get used across the multitude of Company data science-based services and deployments. Acts as a technical expert in own area within the organization. May work independently or as part of a team on more complex projects. Provides mentoring and guidance to more junior team members. May be responsible for leading a team, but does not directly manage people.Job Description

Essential
- Solid understanding of IP networks and ISP technologies.
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Strong Python programming skills; SQL proficiency
- Passion for optimisation algorithms, statistical analysis, and data analytics.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, consultative approach.
- Proven experience as a technical lead.
- Strong stakeholder management and delivery focus.
Desirable
- PhD in networks or computer science.
- Experience with Django, APIs, GCP/AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Agile.
- Background in systems development and statistical modelling.
- Advanced modelling and statistical analysis capabilities.
