- 6 years extensive experience in the support of Networking Technologies
- Strong technical decision making skills
- Advanced knowledge in the security of enterprise networks
- Advanced level Understanding of OSPF, BGP, VPLS and MPLS and various routing technologies
- Advanced knowledge and in-depth experience to troubleshoot all layers of the OSI model, acting as the 2nd level of technical escalation during incidents
- Experience with NX-OS, IOS, SD-WAN, PANOS, or FTD
- Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology
- Knowledge of automation tools
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools like ThousandEyes and Solarwinds
- In-depth experience with security best practices.
- Strong working knowledge of SSL, and VPN
- Able to work on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Advanced problem-solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Strong ownership in continuous improvement, identification and remediation of risks in technology/process, with minimal supervision
- Able multitask and apply technology expertise to ensure deadlines are met
- Keen attention to detail in planning, reviewing and executing successful implementations with zero defects
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain current network infrastructure
- Create and maintain procedural and operational documentation
- Provide Tier 2 escalation support for the Network Operations Center, providing resolution for complex networking issues
- Complete Preventative Maintenance activities, such as code updates & equipment updates following internal change control
- Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvements
- Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management & Capacity Management
- Collaborate with peers to develop documentation for standard practices.
- Proactively research new technologies
- Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
- Respond to inquiries from client, staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support
- Security & Audit compliance
- Operational-related Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD)
- Adherence to Operational Standards
- Compliance with Engineering Design Standards and established operational processes
- Participate in the Development & Maintenance of operational documentation, to include updating Engineering documentation changes due to operational changes, escalation procedures & vendor contracts.
- Provide Root Cause Analysis for Network Events
- Detailed analysis and peer review of change implementation plans, identifying potential gaps in implementation
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Current CCNA or equivalent certification
- ITIL Ver. 3.0 or Ver. 4.0
- All India TaskUs Sites
- Hybrid Working Setup
- 5 Working Days, with initial shift timings from 4 PM to 1 AM IST
- Should be open to Rotational Shifts
