Designs, implements, monitors, and maintains secure on-premises and cloud network infrastructure. Manages firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPN gateways, web application firewalls, AWS and Azure security controls, routing protocols, and hybrid cloud connectivity. Analyzes network traffic and security events, responds to incidents, performs vulnerability assessments, coordinates remediation, maintains documentation and policies, and supports compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Design, implement, monitor, and maintain secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Configure and manage network security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN gateways, and web application firewalls.
- Implement and maintain cloud network security controls including:
- AWS Security Groups, NACLs, VPCs, Transit Gateway
- Azure NSGs, Azure Firewall, Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing.
- Monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Implement secure connectivity solutions including Site-to-Site VPNs and Hybrid Cloud Networking.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and security policies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of routing
- Experience with cloud networking and security in: Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering.
