The Operations Analyst will provide support for O365 applications, manage user access, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security protocols across various functional areas.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Analyst - O365 Applications (IT Ops Analyst IV) to join our Operations department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, and other O365 applications. This role involves assisting in the analysis, design, testing, documentation, and implementation of changes to IT services, solutions, and processes. The Operations Analyst will support multiple standardized or a few complex IT services/processes across various functional areas and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Office 365 services, including SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, and other O365 applications.
- Manage user access requests, feature activation, new site creation, and content visibility issues for SharePoint Online.
- Address MS Teams access issues, external user participation, and channel access.
- Handle OneDrive sync-related issues, permissions management, and data access-related issues.
- Resolve Power BI app configuration issues, access issues, and manage connector issues for data services.
- Provide support for Planner, Sway, Forms, Tasks, Delve, People, Calendar, Visio, and Project.
- Ensure compliance with Office 365 security protocols, including Azure Information Protection, Advanced Threat Protection, and Exchange Online Protection.
- Set up AAD connect to sync on-premise AD with Azure AD and troubleshoot AAD connect errors.
- Create and manage environments for MS Flow/Apps, including data loss prevention policies and data gateways.
- Enable/disable access for Microsoft Stream and manage custom permission sets for specific video streams.
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on collaboration tools and services.
- Strong analytical, design, testing, documentation, and implementation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in resolving medium complexity items.
- Ability to support multiple standardized or a few complex IT services/processes across various functional areas and locations.
- Familiarity with Office 365 services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, and other O365 applications.
- Knowledge of Office 365 security protocols and AAD connect.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
