SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As an Operations Manager, you will lead and manage multiple operations functions, including production and related areas, by driving development in line with Jotun’s values and corporate objectives. You will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers while continuously improving operational efficiency.This position will be part of the management team, reports directly to the Managing Director and is based at our facility in Meghna Industrial Economic Zone (MIEZ), Narayanganj, Dhaka.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Operations team to build a competent, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
- Ensure Operations comply with local laws, regulations, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), Jotun Operations System, and HSEQ management requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement using Jotun Operations System and track progress with KPIs.
- Ensure close and efficient daily cooperation between all Operational functions.
- Ensure professional preventative and breakdown maintenance systems by implementing the Belt program to uphold an optimal production environment.
- Plan and execute capital investments and budgets to meet HSEQ, capacity, and competitiveness requirements.
- Drive cross-functional planning and alignment with all stakeholders.
- Optimize logistics setup to meet customer needs, ensure efficient stock management, and maintain quality control of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field of study or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Operations/Manufacturing with proven leadership responsibilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
