Are you our new Oracle Database Administrator
What will you do:
- Install, configure, migrate, and maintain Oracle databases on Linux platforms.
- Architect optimal database solutions that align with business needs and team standards.
- Monitor database health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Ensure database security, including access control, encryption, and compliance.
- Manage backup and recovery processes to maintain data availability and disaster readiness.
- Apply patches and upgrades to database software, adhering to lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to drive changes.
- Create and maintain documentation related to specific configurations.
- Enhance and automate routine maintenance and operational processes.
- Investigate, solve and prevent critical incidents.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of Oracle DBA experience.
- Experience with Middleware (Forms/Reports, BI) is an advantage.
- Solid background in Oracle database installation, security, maintenance, backup/recovery, patching, HA solutions (Data Guard, RAC).
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning and incident resolution.
- Proficient with Linux environments, with the skills to optimize system configurations for database performance.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline routine tasks.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Independent, self-motivated, and aligned with team practices.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude is essential, especially in non-standard situations.
