Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design, configuration, and support for Oracle Configurator (CZ) within Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Build and maintain configurator models, including:
- Model hierarchy & structures
- Options, attributes, and option classes
- Configuration rules, constraints, logic, and dependencies
- Develop and manage Configurable BOMs aligned with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
- Support end-to-end QTC processes, ensuring seamless integration between other modules:
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to identify business needs and translate them into scalable configurator and QTC solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues impacting quoting, configuration logic, pricing, order creation, and BOM explosion.
- Participate in CRP/UAT cycles, end-user training, and documentation of models and functional designs.
- Provide ongoing production support, enhancements, and process improvements across configurator and QTC modules.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and rollout initiatives for QTC and configurator components.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–12 years of functional experience in Oracle EBS (R12), focused on Oracle Configurator (CZ).
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Configurator Developer (OCD)
- Model setup and rules authoring
- Configurable BOMs and product structures
- Solid functional knowledge across Quote-to-Cash (QTC) modules:
- Order Management and Inventory
- Advanced Pricing
- GOP/Order Promising (nice-to-have)
- Experience supporting integrated QTC flows from quoting → configuration → pricing → order creation → fulfillment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
