Lead Oracle Fusion Finance client engagements independently across implementation, support, and enhancement projects. Gather requirements, design and configure Finance modules, coordinate RICEFW development, lead SIT/UAT, manage defects and sign-offs, and support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and production operations. The role also requires client communication in Tamil and English, documentation, training materials, and status reporting.
Role: Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Chennai - Onsite
Shift Time: 10 am to 7 pm IST
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to manage client engagements across implementation independently, support, and enhancement projects. This is a client-facing role requiring strong functional depth across Fusion Finance modules, the ability to lead discussions without senior backup, and fluency in Tamil to support regional client stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently lead client-facing discussions — requirement gathering, solution design walkthroughs, UAT sign-offs, and steady-state support calls
- Act as the primary functional point of contact for assigned client accounts, without requiring escalation for day-to-day engagement.
- Communicate fluently in Tamil and English to support regional stakeholders and end users
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion Finance functional designs (fit-gap analysis, solution documents)
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion Finance modules — General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management (confirm exact module scope)
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows) and coordinate with technical teams
- Configure period close processes, intercompany accounting, and India tax setups as applicable
- Lead SIT/UAT cycles, prepare test scripts, and manage defect resolution with client sign-off
- Support cutover planning, data validation, and go-live activities
- Provide hypercare and post-go-live production support
- Maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and training materials
- Ensure timely status reporting to internal leadership and client stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Finance (Cloud) implementation and/or support
- Proven experience handling client engagements independently — end-to-end, without dependency on a lead/senior consultant.
- Strong functional expertise across [GL / AP / AR / FA / CM — confirm specific modules in scope]
- Experience in at least one full-cycle Fusion Finance implementation and should have supported 2-3 managed services.
- Strong client communication, requirement-gathering, and presentation skills
Good to Have:
- Oracle Fusion Finance certification
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS)
- Experience in multi-entity/multi-currency environments
- Prior experience working with Tamil Nadu-based or South India client base (Tamil speaking candidate).
