The Oracle Fusion P2P Consultant supports and configures end-to-end P2P processes, analyzes issues, performs RCA, and collaborates with technical teams, ensuring smooth business operations.
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion P2P Functional Consultant with strong functional expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The ideal candidate will possess a solid blend of functional knowledge and technical capability, enabling them to support, configure, and enhance Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement and Payables solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end P2P processes, reporting (OTBI/BI Publisher), issue analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), patch validation, and implementation of new features and enhancements, along with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

- Provide end-to-end functional support for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, including Requisitioning, Purchasing, Receiving, Invoicing, and Payments.
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion SCM and ERP modules such as Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Management, and Accounts Payables (AP).
- Design, implement, and maintain functional configurations, including approval workflows, supplier setups, invoice matching rules (2-way/3-way), and payment configurations.
- Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide effective solutions and workarounds.
- Support implementation of new features, enhancements, and process improvements as per business requirements.
- Support month-end and period-end activities, ensuring smooth financial and procurement operations.
- Develop and maintain reports using OTBI and BI Publisher (basic level) to support business reporting and reconciliation needs.
- Perform data analysis to support audits, reconciliations, and business decision-making.
- Participate in patch validation, impact analysis, and regression testing for Oracle quarterly updates.
- Conduct SIT, UAT, and regression testing and support production deployments.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, data issues, and enhancement requirements.
- Prepare and deliver business readouts, status updates, and functional documentation.
- Ensure strong and effective communication with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams throughout support and implementation cycles.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion P2P end-to-end processes.
- Deep functional knowledge of Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Management, and Accounts Payables (AP) modules.
- Experience in supplier lifecycle management, invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Strong ability to analyze issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion configuration and production support activities.
- Working knowledge of OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Experience in patch validation, regression testing, and quarterly Oracle upgrade cycles.
- Experience in SIT, UAT, and production support environments.
- Exposure to the implementation of new features, enhancements, and process improvements.
- Good understanding of data flows across P2P modules and basic awareness of SQL, FBDI, and integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical teams.
- Experience in preparing and delivering readouts, status reports, and functional documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills with a proactive working approach.
- Oracle Fusion certifications preferred (any of the following):
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement Certification
- Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification (AP/GL specialization preferred)
- Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation Certification
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Payables Certification
- Oracle Cloud Procurement / SCM Certification
Good to Have Technical Knowledge
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrations.
- Awareness of REST and SOAP APIs used in Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Exposure to FBDI (File-Based Data Import) templates for data migration and uploads.
- Knowledge of BI Publisher advanced reporting and data model creation.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Security model (roles, privileges, and data access).
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture and data model for ERP/SCM modules.
