The Oracle Fusion R2R Consultant will support and enhance R2R processes in Oracle Fusion Financials, manage financial reporting, analyze issues, and collaborate with technical teams.
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion R2R Consultant with strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes. The ideal candidate will possess a solid blend of functional knowledge and reporting capability, enabling them to support, configure, and enhance Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end R2R processes, including General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), period close activities, and financial reporting (OTBI/BI Publisher), along with strong skills in issue analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), patch validation, and implementation of new features and enhancements. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills to engage effectively with finance business stakeholders and technical teams.

- Provide end-to-end functional support for the Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle, including journal processing, ledger management, period close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Fixed Assets (FA), and Financial Reporting structures.
- Manage and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Design and maintain a chart of accounts, accounting rules, journals, allocations, and financial hierarchies.
- Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide effective solutions and workarounds.
- Support and implement new features, enhancements, and financial process improvements as per business requirements.
- Develop and maintain reports using OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Perform financial data analysis, reconciliations, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Participate in patch validation, impact assessment, and regression testing for Oracle quarterly updates.
- Conduct SIT, UAT, and regression testing and support production deployments.
- Collaborate with technical teams for data issues, integrations, and reporting enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver financial readouts, status updates, and functional documentation to business stakeholders.
- Ensure strong and effective communication with finance users, auditors, and technical teams throughout support and implementation cycles.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion R2R end-to-end processes.
- Deep functional knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting concepts, period close process, and reconciliation activities.
- Experience in chart of accounts design, journal processing, allocations, and financial reporting structures.
- Strong ability to analyze issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials configuration and production support activities.
- Working knowledge of OTBI and BI Publisher reporting.
- Experience in patch validation, regression testing, and Oracle quarterly upgrade cycles.
- Experience in SIT, UAT, and production support environments.
- Exposure to the implementation of new features, enhancements, and financial process improvements.
- Good understanding of financial data flows and basic awareness of SQL, FBDI, and integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with finance users, auditors, and technical teams.
- Experience in preparing and delivering financial readouts, audit support documents, and status reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills with a structured working approach.
- Oracle Fusion certifications preferred (any of the following):
- Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification
- Oracle General Ledger Cloud Certification
- Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation Certification
- Oracle Fusion Subledger Accounting Certification
- Oracle Financial Reporting / OTBI Certification
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for financial data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for financial integrations.
- Awareness of REST and SOAP APIs used in Oracle Financials integrations.
- Exposure to FBDI templates for journal uploads and financial data migration.
- Knowledge of BI Publisher advanced reporting and data model development.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Security model (roles, privileges, and data access controls).
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP architecture and Financials data model.
