About the role
P&C Advisor – 12-month max term opportunity
As a P&C Advisor, you’ll provide end‑to‑end HR generalist support across the employee lifecycle. This includes responding to queries from employees and leaders, ensuring data accuracy in HRIS (Workday), supporting organisational changes, and advising on P&C policies and processes.
What you will be doing:
Provide trusted, consistent advice and coaching to leaders, employees on the interpretation and application of P&C policies, processes and HR systems (including Workday, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, position framework/job evaluations, and basic employment/IR requirements).
Support the delivery of P&C processes and initiatives by providing administrative and coordination support across key annual people activities, including goal setting, talent and performance calibration sessions, engagement action planning and remuneration review.
Build capability across leaders and P&C by promoting and coaching the use of self‑service solutions, while identifying and developing improved user‑focused self‑service options through analysis of support requests.
Support data governance and auditing in partnership with Digital Services by actioning Workday notifications, remediating data via exception reporting, completing regular audits, producing operational people reports not available via self‑service, and running monthly SIP reports for the Contact Centre and Connect Now.
Identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement that drives efficiencies and excellent data quality outcomes.
What we would like to see you bring:
Experience in a service‑focused role, supported by general business administration skills, with the ability to analyse and present data (Excel and PowerPoint); an undergraduate degree (or progress toward one) is desirable.
Excellent communication, relationship‑building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Friendly, approachable and collaborative team player, who shares knowledge and contributes positively to team goals.
Diplomatic, empathetic and professional, with strong confidentiality, maturity and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Proactive mindset with strong organisational skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and solid business acumen to balance priorities effectively.
