Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or Software as a Service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases to ensure smooth deployment and maintaining system stability to provide uninterrupted service. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams to address challenges and enhance application functionality is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to meet changing business needs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data processing and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and release processes.
- Familiarity with integration of APIs and use of low-code development environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for cloud applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
