Senior Palantir Developer (Foundry / Gotham)

- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham
- Role Summary
- The Senior Palantir Developer is a hands-on expert responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable Palantir solutions. This role focuses on complex development tasks, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring best practices across data pipelines, ontology modeling, and applications.
- Key Responsibilities
- Palantir Development
- Design and implement complex data pipelines, transforms, and workflows in Palantir
- Develop and maintain ontology models, object relationships, and actions
- Build analytical applications and dashboards using Foundry tools (Workshop, Slate, Contour, Quiver, etc.)
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of Palantir solutions
- Technical Execution
- Write high-quality, maintainable Python, SQL, and Spark code
- Integrate Palantir with external systems using APIs and connectors
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
- Collaboration & Mentorship
- Mentor junior and mid-level Palantir developers
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Collaborate with architects, tech leads, and business stakeholders
- Governance & Quality
- Implement data security, access controls, and governance standards
- Ensure proper data lineage, documentation, and testing
- Follow CI/CD and release management practices within Palantir
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Palantir Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham
- Deep understanding of ontology, pipelines, and operational workflows
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade Palantir solutions in production
- Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with Spark / distributed data processing
- Solid data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modeling)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex features
- Preferred Qualifications
- Palantir certification(s)
- Experience in regulated or mission-critical domains (finance, healthcare, government, defense)
