Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student Maintenance Engineering and Data Analytics for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:
- Execute Maintenance Engineering Projects: BOM's, Spare Parts, and, PM's
- Gather, review, and analyze data to understand trends and determine priorities for project assignment and execution
- Process Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders by:
- Organizing and filing PMs and work orders
- Ordering parts needed and kitting them
- Updating the weekly PM availability and coordinating with production supervisors to plan time to complete PM
- Scheduling PMs for all shifts, including weekends

What Skills You Need
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; others may apply
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
- Graduation date of Spring 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly
- Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications as well as the ability to learn new tools
