Overview:
Welocalize is seeking a Indonesia-based patent filing associate firm to support client legal teams in executing jurisdiction-specific patent filing and validation activities. This partnership forms part of a broader multi-country filing program focused on optimizing quality, cost, and compliance in global IP processes.
Scope of Work
- Handle national phase entry and validation of PCT applications in Indonesia.
- Collaborate with international legal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP), Indonesia.
- Provide local representation and expert insight into DGIP procedural and documentation requirements.
- Offer guidance on timelines, formalities, and updates related to Indonesian patent prosecution and filings.
- Participate in rate discussions and provide transparent pricing (hourly, task-based, or based on official fee structure, as applicable).
Selection Requirements
- Registered and authorized to act before the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP), Indonesia.
- Legally permitted to file and prosecute patent applications on behalf of international clients in Indonesia.
- Demonstrated experience with PCT national phase entries, direct filings, and Indonesian patent validations.
- Firm must provide a company profile or brochure, website link, and a clear point of contact for coordination.
