KONE India is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and this represents an opportunity for you to join our Chennai KONE India, as People & Communications (P&C) Services – Managers. P&C Services Managers are managing the P&C Services operations in their respective geographical area according to the agreed global service scope and SLA’s. P&C Services Managers drive continuous improvement within KONE P&C by providing insight and analysis on the improvement opportunities. P&C Services Managers hire, retain and develop talent within the P&C Services function. P&C Services Managers are critical part of service deliver model in delivering P&C services for the organization with their teams.

P&C Services Managers dedicate their time to service delivery, operational management, process development and advisory activities. They collaborate with other P&C teams and different business stakeholders to ensure that service delivery flows and that the set targets and KPIs are achieved. They have clear counterparts on global, area and cluster / country levels to enable smooth service delivery across different units and countries.

What will you be doing?

  • Operationally lead the P&C Services function in the geographical area.
  • Manage and lead the P&C Services according to the P&C Services global scope and set SLA’s within the geographical area
  • Manage the locally agreed service scope according to the agreements between the P&C Services and the business units in the geographical area
  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of P&C Services service management processes so that the outcomes meets KONE’s current and future business needs, engages and motivates employees and develops KONE as great place to work. Successfully drive / lead the delivery of P&C Services service management processes and practices in the geographical area.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement towards KONE P&C CoE’s and Unit P&C’s by providing insight and analysis on operational issues
  • Collaborate and align with other P&C teams and business stakeholders to deliver consistent services for the organization.
  • Contribute to the creation and development of P&C Services development roadmaps e.g. by sharing country / cluster feedback and business requirements.
  • Evaluate business environment and workforce trends on an ongoing basis to make recommendations for units to achieve and exceed their targets.
  • Develop the annual P&C Services budget in the geographical area and in line with global budgeting guidelines.
  • Hire, retain and develop a team of P&C Services professionals to ensure that they have the needed knowledge and capabilities to deliver efficient and quality services for the organization within the function
  • Ensure that the service delivery practices fulfill all needed global/local regulations and laws.
  • Maintain strong connections with P&C colleagues within KONE and externally to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.
  • Act as a member of Area P&C Management

Are you the one?

  • M.Sc. or Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in multinational company
  • Business experience is an asset
  • Fluency of English + knowledge of one additional area language is an asset
  • Background from operational leadership roles within HR or other relevant function
  • Deep understanding of related service management processes
  • Proven track record of successful roles in multi-cultural business environment
  • Experience in working across functional/business lines in a global matrix organization
  • Hands-on project management and change management experience
  • Experience in leading, developing and coaching P&C professionals
