Job Description
Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Bangalore
Work schedule: 45 Hours weekly
Work Model: Hybrid
Intro:
The HR Business Partner supports a business unit or shared services leadership team and its people with a people-forward, data driven and CSC values-based approach. To this end, the HR Business Partner pro-actively partners, coaches and advises on how we lead and develop teams, how we solve organizational challenges, how we navigate employee relations issues, how we improve engagement and how we motivate and retain needed talent. Proper oversight and guidance on recurring HR activities - like induction, probationary meetings, exit interviews, mid and year end performance reviews, promotions, compensation round, mobility, and recognition - are key focus areas as well. Lastly, the HR Business Partner works together with other HR colleagues to successfully implement global HR initiatives.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
Employee Support & Experience• Serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries, offering policy guidance and escalating complex or sensitive matters to senior HR Business Partners.• Drive the execution of core HR programs, including onboarding, performance reviews, transfers, promotions, and employee exits.
People Process Execution• Facilitate key HR programs such as performance management, goal setting, promotions, feedback collection, and talent reviews.• Communicate and implement global/regional HR initiatives across business units in a timely and effective manner.
Data & Reporting• Maintain and update employee records within HR systems, supporting accurate reporting on headcount, attrition, workforce demographics, and engagement.• Analyze HR metrics to generate insights that support strategic workforce planning and talent development discussions.
Compliance & Risk Management• Ensure documentation meets compliance standards and is audit-ready, including records related to investigations and employee relations.• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to uphold process integrity across payroll, policy enforcement, and background verification.
Engagement & Culture• Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback collection (onboarding, pulse, exit), and insights reporting.• Champion company values and foster an inclusive workplace culture through awareness campaigns and respectful behavior promotion.
Cross-functional Collaboration• Partner with internal HR functions-Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation, etc.-to coordinate delivery of cohesive HR services.
Employee Relations:• key role in fostering a positive work environment by managing employee concerns, promoting fair treatment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. • Help to resolve conflicts, improve engagement, and support organizational culture.• Addresses employee complaints and concerns in a timely and confidential manner• Mediate disputes between employees or between employees and management• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace issues
What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 7+yrs of experience of relevant experience in an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance management, promotions, exits).
  • Experience handling employee relations matters, including complaints, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience maintaining HR data and generating reports using HR systems.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics to support workforce planning and engagement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
