About the role:

Monte Carlo is looking for a People Operations Manager to support our growing Monte Carlo team by handling basic blocking and tackling HR matters for our employee base. This role will be responsible for, compliance, offboarding, benefits administration, and HR systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with experience in People operations and a passion for building efficient and employee-friendly processes.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Benefits Administration: Manage annual open enrollment, support global benefits via Deel/Remote, and assist employees with benefits inquiries and life events.

  • HR Programs & Operations: Support HRIS implementation, maintain HR policies and documentation, and address HR issues as they arise.

  • Offboarding: Manage offboarding processes, ensure security compliance, analyze exit interview data, and coordinate final steps.

  • Compliance & Training: Oversee mandatory compliance training and stay updated on state-specific requirements.

  • Immigration & International HR: Support visa processes and address global HR matters.

We’re excited about you because you have:

  • 5+ years of HR operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and benefits administration.

  • Experience managing onboarding and offboarding workflows.

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (experience with HiBob a plus).

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from employee data.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proactive approach to process improvement and employee experience.
