Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Performance Tester / Performance Test Lead with 5 to 8 years of experience in performance testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing processes, tools, and analysis techniques, and will be capable of leading performance testing initiatives across complex system.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute end-to-end performance testing lifecycle: strategy, scripting, workload modeling, execution, analysis, and reporting.
Gather and analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including production statistics, growth models, and infrastructure needs.
Provide detailed performance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or WebLOAD.
Monitor and interpret performance metrics across web, application, and database servers.
Use performance monitoring tools to track system behavior and identify issues.
Document and present performance test results and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
Expertise in at least one performance testing tool ( JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, WebLOAD).
Experience with performance monitoring tools and interpreting system metrics.
Ability to analyze performance data and identify bottlenecks across different layers.
Familiarity with web, application, and database server parameters.
Proven ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on new projects.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
Open to challenges and adaptable to changing environments.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
Experience in retail/e-commerce applications is a strong plus.
