Job Title : Performance Test Engineer
Location: Pune/ Mumbai/ Kochi / Chennai/ Coimbatore
Mode of Work: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Test Design & Development
- Design performance, load, stress, and endurance test scenarios based on requirements provided by the company .
- Develop test scripts using Azure Load Testing, LoadRunner, JMeter, or other approved tools.
- Prepare test data, workload models, and environment requests following company standards.
- Contribute to shared frameworks and reusable artefacts used in the testing ecosystem.
- Test Execution, Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Execute performance tests independently and collaboratively alongside engineers from company and partner vendors.
- Monitor server‑side, client‑side and platform metrics using approved tooling (Azure Monitor, App Insights, browser tools, PerfMon, etc.).
- Participate in joint technical triage sessions with engineering, architecture and multi‑vendor partners to resolve issues.
- Communicate findings transparently, ensuring all teams have visibility of issues, risks and progress.
- Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks, performance risks and scalability issues.
- Produce high‑quality, consistent performance reports using company templates and conventions.
- Present findings to cross‑vendor groups, ensuring alignment on actions, priorities and recommended improvements.
- Collaboration & Ways of Working

- Work seamlessly within company's multi‑vendor technical testing team, building strong cross-functional & collaborative relationships, within a One-Team Model.

- Adhere to company’s quality and performance engineering standards.

- Log work, updates, and evidence in Azure DevOps or other mandated systems.
- Raise ServiceNow or Marketplace requests for environment, access, or issue management in line with company procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Proven experience using:
- Azure Load Testing
- JMeter
- LoadRunner
- Strong experience executing automated performance tests via Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines.
- Good technical understanding of:
- API/web architectures
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Microservices, databases, networking and distributed systems
- Ability to interpret performance telemetry and identify bottlenecks efficiently.
- Experience testing low‑code platforms (e.g., PowerApps, ServiceNow, PowerBI performance scenarios), is highly desirable.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities – essential for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical members of immediate and wider teams.
- Ability to influence and work harmoniously within a diverse delivery ecosystem.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
- Highly organized, self‑managing, and able to navigate competing priorities.
