As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop robust web applications, maintain REST APIs, and collaborate with team members to improve delivery. Responsibilities include writing code, troubleshooting, participating in Agile ceremonies, and creating technical documentation.
As a Senior Engineer, you will leverage your development expertise to build highly functional, scalable solutions. The Senior Engineer should have a team-first mentality and be willing to help other team members to improve the delivery success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and front-end framework Angular.
- Build and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and Product owners/ Managers.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices including secure code guidelines.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
- Create technical documentation in the code per coding standards and assist as needed in the documentation creation for the products’ customers.
Requirements
- Have completed a in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of development experience.
- Experience developing applications that interact with RESTful APIs.
- Demonstrated experience in REST API development and microservices architecture.
- Experience with front-end development, particularly in Angular.
- Experience with other AWS services such as S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills
