Own and support the end-to-end PLM (Windchill) lifecycle: development, configuration, upgrades, integrations (ERP, CAD), and data integrity. Gather stakeholder requirements, customize workflows/lifecycles, coordinate vendors, provide user support/training, and maintain system performance and stability.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Own and support the end-to-end PLM system lifecycle (development, configuration, and maintenance)
- Contribute to PLM upgrade initiatives (e.g., Windchill version upgrades)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into PLM solutions
- Configure and customize PLM workflows, lifecycles, and data models
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners for implementation and issue resolution
- Ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity
- Support integrations with ERP and other enterprise systems
- Provide user support, training, and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in PLM domain
- Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill cloud hosting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts: BOM, Change Management, CAD integrations
- Experience with system upgrades, migration, or cloud transformation is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Java, XML, or scripting (for customization)
- Familiarity with database systems (Oracle preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with NX, Inventor, SW, Montor graphics, or other CAD integrations
- Understanding of digital thread / digital twin concepts
- Experience working in global teams
