  • Providing high‑quality risk and compliance insights, evidence and analysis to support lifecycle gates, portfolio governance forums and senior decision‑making

  • Monitoring regulatory and compliance risks across the construction portfolio, identifying emerging obligations, control gaps and escalation requirements

  • Partnering closely with Project Directors, Construction leaders, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations and assurance expectations

  • Contributing lessons learned, insights and feedback to support continuous improvement of risk frameworks, tools, templates and reporting

What you will bring

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong professional judgement, advanced risk expertise and the ability to operate confidently in complex, evolving project environments:

  • Tertiary qualification in risk management, engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

  • Professional risk qualifications (e.g. AIRM, PMIRMP, ISO 31000 training) highly regarded

  • Demonstrated experience facilitating complex risk workshops, deep dives or scenario analysis

  • A deep understanding of enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance frameworks and assurance practices

  • Proven ability to analyse and synthesise risk information across multiple projects into clear, actionable portfolio insights

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability, with the confidence to challenge constructively and ask the “why”

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear, practical guidance

  • A resilient, curious and proactive mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
