The Power BI Developer will create datasets, dashboards, and reports, collaborate with users to meet requirements, maintain the Power BI environment, and provide user support and training.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Development of Power BI datasets, data flows, dashboards and reports.
- Work with users and IT to understand requirements, propose solutions and take through to implementation
- Maintenance of existing Power BI environment
- Testing activities on new enhancements and development in the backend systems
- Support of end users and support team with data quality checks, issue tracking and resolution
- Develop and deliver end user training
- Coordinate issue resolution with IT
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Experienced in development of large and complex Power BI datasets and reports
- Expertise in DAX queries, MDX, Power Query, Power Automate
- Knowledge of advanced SQL queries and database \ data warehouse concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI environment – SSAS, SQL server
- Knowledge of Hive, Vertica would be a plus
- Knowledge of Qlik sense, Business Objects and similar reporting tools would be a plus
