Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Developer

Experience: 4–5 Years
Location: Ahmedabad (Temporary Work From Home; may transition to Work From Office)
Shift Timing: 07:00 PM – 04:00 AM IST

We are looking for an experienced Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Developer with strong expertise in data modeling and semantic model development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, SSAS, MDX, Dataflows, and Power Query, and must be comfortable building robust semantic models before report development.

This role goes beyond traditional report development and requires strong knowledge of data architecture and BI modeling.

• Design and develop semantic data models using Microsoft Fabric / Power BI datasets

• Build and manage dataflows, data pipelines, and transformations using Power Query

• Develop and maintain SSAS Tabular models and work with MDX queries

• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources to create scalable BI models

• Optimize and manage data models for performance and usability

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into structured semantic models

• Support the development of Power BI reports built on top of the underlying semantic models

• Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices in BI architecture

• 4–5 years of experience in Power BI / Microsoft Fabric development

• Strong experience with semantic modeling and data architecture

• Hands-on expertise in:

  • Microsoft Fabric

  • Power Query

  • Power BI Dataflows

  • SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services)

  • MDX

• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, measures)

• Experience integrating multiple data sources and building scalable datasets

• Proficiency in SQL

• Experience working with Azure data services

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts

• Experience working with large BI environments and enterprise datasets

• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in Power BI / SSAS

• Temporary Work From Home

• May transition to Work From Office based on business requirements

• Must be comfortable working Night Shift (07:00 PM – 04:00 AM IST)
