OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- The role will support the Global Pricing and Policy team with organizational project management and operational activities
- The role will also support above-asset pricing analytics support
- The role requires demonstrated pharmaceutical pricing experience and ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders to drive processes and collaboration
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver planned and ad-hoc project management that may include (40-50%):
- Manage and coordinate defined and ad-hoc activities as identified by GPP (such as vendor engagement, knowledge management and training events, etc)
- Support organizational alignment with internal stakeholders, including GPP and the wider organization on operational activities/initiatives
- Support and improve GPP team collaboration by engaging with GPP team members, manage team meetings, ensure the flow of information, and provide operational solutions
- Develop and enhance internal and external communication needs for GPP (eg. leadership presentations, etc)
- Providing access to Takeda's secured working environment and pricing related data sources and support the use and maintenance of GPP SharePoint sites to ensure it is utilized effectively for improved collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Deliver planned and ad-hoc analytics support that may include (50-60%):
- Support planned and ad-hoc pricing analytics to deliver pricing insights to the GPP team through activities such as competitor and price benchmarking, analog analysis, horizon scanning and pricing landscape analysis, pricing models, etc
- Support IRP analysis to estimate the cross-country IRP risk and share analysis with relevant stakeholders
- Support data quality check in pricing platform for price launch and price change request and follow up with initiating and impacted countries to validate expected price changes where required
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelors / Masters Degree in science, economics, pharmacy, MBA
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in pharmaceutical pricing and market access acquired at leading industry companies or relevant consultancy companies
- Understand pricing and access activities needed at key drug development and commercialization milestones to be able to deliver integrated pricing insights
- Process-oriented with good project management, multi-tasking skills, analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication & team collaboration skills, comfortable working with an international cross-functional team and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw insights/derive implications from the analytical research
- Proficient in word, excel, powerpoint, analytical tools, etc
- Comfortable with ambiguity and experience of working in multi-matrixed organizations with a growth/continuous learning mindset
