How We Work
Our hybrid work model (3 days in the office) gives us the face-to-face time to have creative conversations, meaningful meetings, make quick decisions, and build relationships. At the same time, it offers flexibility you need to focus and do your best work.
Objectives:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance web applications with a focus on React.js for the front-end and backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, or similar technologies.
Architect and implement software solutions across the entire technology stack, from database management to user interface.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements, user stories, and technical solutions.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow in their careers.
Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and security by following best practices and implementing new technologies.
Lead and drive architectural decisions, setting standards and ensuring the adoption of modern engineering practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered across the team.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in full-stack development, React.js, and the broader software engineering landscape.
Competencies:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a strong focus on React.js and JavaScript/ TypeScript.
Frontend Expertise: Extensive experience building sophisticated, responsive, and dynamic UIs using React.js, Redux, hooks, and other modern frontend technologies.
Backend Expertise: Proven experience in backend development using Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks, along with working knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
Architecture Design: Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architectures.
Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
Mentorship: Strong experience mentoring and leading engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting best practices in software engineering.
Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, and CI/CD processes.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Experience with micro frontends and containerization (e.g., Docker).
Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scaling product.
Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
Exposure to AI driven development is a plus (Cursor, Copilot etc.,)
