The RoleWe are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps group in AspenTech, building the next generation platform for production execution. Your Impact
  • Monitor, maintain and support software product teams in an Agile Development environment.
  • Implement, maintain and support CICD pipelines and processes for on-premises and cloud computing infrastructure used day-to-day by the R&D organization for the development, configuration, and delivery of commercial software solutions.
  • Actively contribute to improve R&D operational processes.
  • Investigate emerging and existing development technologies that can be leveraged to improve software operation/development efficiency.
  • Mentor Junior team members technically as required.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
  • 8+ years of knowledge on coding and scripting in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience with Source Control Systems such as GitHub Actions, GitHub, GitLab
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory and Azure DevOps etc.
  • Experience with Azure/AWS Cloud
  • Experience with container architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Python or C#.
  • Proficiency in Power shell or bash
  • Experience with OSS/Security Scans (Black Duck/Synk)
  • English fluency (written and verbal) required.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to details.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Experienced in scope definition and estimating development effort.
