Role Overview

The Principal Product Manager (PPM) for the Commercial Technical Innovation (CTI) stream leads the strategy and execution for rethinking how we manage key commercial processes: starting from assortment management through pricing up to promotions and negotiation. You will oversee a team of Product Engineers and work closely with leadership of commercial teams to bring innovations moving the commercial department and company to the next level and replace manual workflows with intelligent, AI-powered solutions.

This role is for those obsessed with simplifying complexity—replacing legacy processes with elegant tools and automation, scaling internal excellence, and unlocking the next level of performance for commercial teams.

What we expect from you

1. Business Stream Leadership & Strategy
  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for the CTI stream, including pricing, product data, assortment optimization, promotion engines, and supplier interfaces

  • Define long-term vision and ensure alignment with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Tech strategies

  • Identify critical bottlenecks in current processes and top opportunities for value creation

  • Shape the future of internal commercial tooling by driving innovation in automation and agentic AI

2. Leadership & Team Management
  • Define clear priorities, points of contact, and interfaces across teams and stakeholders

  • Mentor team members to build a strong product and process innovation capability: promote end to end product engineering

  • Ensure the team’s skills grow in line with the ambitions of CTI and the broader business

3. Execution & Delivery
  • Oversee delivery of multiple cross-functional innovations in parallel: we run in small units tackling multiple priority issues with agile lean teams

  • Facilitate trade-offs and prioritization across use cases: from onboarding 1000s of SKUs monthly to enabling real-time promotion management

  • Drive scalable rollouts across multiple countries and commercial teams

  • Coordinate with Engineering and Business stakeholders to ensure impactful delivery

4. Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Use data to measure process pain points and automation opportunities

  • Define and monitor input/output KPIs: e.g. time-to-list, product performance criteria, automation coverage

  • Lead pilots and A/B tests, validate hypotheses, and rapidly iterate toward excellence

5. Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Act as the voice of the Commercial stream towards product colleagues, tech and other departments

  • Coordinate change management including documentation, enablement, and rollout

  • Ensure all countries and platforms users benefit from a unified and intuitive experience

What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years experience in product management, digital tooling, or commercial topics

  • Experience with commercial retail processes

  • Proven success leading product teams in high-growth or fast-paced environments

  • Experience with AI-driven systems and prototyping with agentic tools

  • Strong understanding of internal user needs, workflow automation, and B2B user tooling

  • Ability to navigate between strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional alignment skills

  • Fluent in English; other European languages a bonus

  • Based in Prague; willing to travel up to 20% across markets
