Principal Product Marketing Specialist

As a Staff Application Engineer in our Technical Marketing team, you will work in a global environment providing support and comprehensive technical information to our customers, internal teams and businesses partners. The technical focus will be on RH850 or ARM microcontrollers in general and the handling of the associated ecosystem tools system with respect to automotive applications.

【Main Responsibilities】

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers, internal teams and businesses partners.
• Perform product training and workshops.
• Provide technical expertise with respect to RH850 or ARM devices and their ecosystems.
• Drive the market introduction of Renesas MCU’s products in cooperation with key customers.
• Develop a solid technical understanding of our products with respect to automotive systems.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, FAEs, and device design teams to ensure technical requirements are met when new Renesas products are being designed.
• Research new technology trends and provide insight and feedback to the product development teams for next generation devices
• Develop supporting technical documents and application notes
• Travel to customers, business partners and internally if required.
• Attend conferences, industry events or participate in internal training events

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Automotive customers and applications is desired
• Experience in developing MCU-based products and systems
• Hands-on experience in system bring-up, testing, and debugging
• Experience designing with or using embedded system development tools
• Ability to analyze, debug and solve a variety of technical problems
• Good sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations
• Experience with Automotive customers and applications is desired
• Ability or manage complex projects and multi-task
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken) Proficient handling of standard PC tools (MS-Office)
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
