What will you contribute?


Reporting to the
Head of Operational Excellence, the Operational Excellence Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Large to moderately complex projects for a defined segment of strategic initiatives from project definition and intake to transition to full operational support.  

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Operational Excellence Project Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback from project teams to identify areas for improvement. Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams in improvement initiatives.  

  • Work in alignment with senior leadership to build a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing project management processes and improving efficiency and effectiveness. Prioritize and formulate necessary initiatives that provide the most value to the business. 

  • Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Conduct benchmarking against industry standards to identify areas for improvement. 

  • Work with Functional Leads on topics related to project management and organizational efficiency.

  • Engage and participate in meetings with teams to discuss performance, opportunities, feedback and any mitigation plans required at the initiative level.  

  • Provide guidance, training and coaching to Functional Leads on project performance. Influence and motivate teams to achieve project success. 

  • Identify skill gaps and dependencies and make recommendations to address them

  • Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. 

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in project or program management

  • 3-5 years’ experience leading technical and non-technical resources.

  • Experience assisting project management teams with identification of action items, tasks and activities and tracking progress

  • Experience at defining, implementing and continually improving standards, processes and procedures utilizing industry best practice (PMI, CMMI, etc.)

  • Experience developing project budgets based on the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
