Position Overview
We are looking for a Principal User Experience Writer to craft intuitive, engaging, and effective product content that enhances user experience and drives customer success.
You will own the voice and tone for key product touchpoints, ensuring clarity, consistency, and usability across all user interactions. This role requires deep collaboration with designers, researchers, PMs, and customer support teams to create content that aligns with both business goals and user needs.
Position Responsibilities

Write clear, concise, and user-friendly content for product interfaces, onboarding experiences, error messages, tooltips, and help documentation.

Develop and maintain content guidelines to ensure consistency across all product messaging.

Collaborate with UX designers and researchers to test and validate content effectiveness through usability studies and A/B testing.

Work closely with product managers and designers to create intuitive content that enhances user workflows.

Advocate for the user by ensuring content supports accessibility, inclusivity, and usability best practices.

Partner with marketing and customer success teams to align in-product messaging with external communications.

Translate complex product concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language.

Stay up to date with UX writing trends, best practices, and emerging tools.
Required Skills and Experience

8+ years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or a related field.

Exceptional command of the English language, with a deep understanding of tone, style, and voice.

Experience writing for complex B2B products, with an emphasis on enterprise customers.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence product decisions through content strategy.

Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing work and content problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with tools like Figma, Contentful, or similar content management platforms.
Education and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
