Designs, implements, and improves manufacturing processes for sheet metal fabrication and welding operations. Responsibilities include facility development, process proving, welding fixture validation, distortion control, coating-process support, jig and fixture design, engineering drawing and BOM interpretation, PFMEA, SOP implementation, Poka-yoke, Kaizen, engineering change management, and lean waste reduction. The role also supports laser-cutting and bending programming and uses SAP PP/MM, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

- Experience in
Manufacturing process design and implementation, facility development and
proving in Sheet metal fabrication and Weld shop. (Laser cutting, Sheet Bending,
Tube bending, MIG Welding)
- Experience in proving
welding fixtures, controlling welding distortion etc.
- Working knowledge in Surface
coating processes (Powder coating, Painting and Plating)
- Knowledge in JIG &
Fixture design
- Good understanding of Engineering
drawings, BOM and Routing systems.
- Good knowledge and
experience in PFMEA Process
- Hands on experience in
implementing SOP, Poka-yoke, Kaizen and Process innovations.
- Good understanding of
Engineering change management process.
- Knowledge of Lean
manufacturing / Waste reduction / Method improvements
