OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Process Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing standardized processes and methodologies that enhance operational efficiency, improve quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves collaborating with Product and Production to align processes with business objectives, ensuring consistent execution, and driving process innovation across the organization.

The Process Manager acts as a subject matter expert on best practices in process design and improvement, ensuring that methods used across the business are effective, scalable, and aligned with industry standards.


SHORT- AND MEDIUM-TERM CHALLENGES OF THE ROLE

As BIW/Metalwork Process Manager your main challenges will be to:

· define technology and safety roadmap to be deployed for 2025 in all hubs,

· Implement quality control program and certification for production,

· Define and implement quality performance program WW)



KEY RESPONSABILITIES

1. Process Design and Standardization:

- Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of standardized processes across hubs to ensure consistency and efficiency in alignment with Product Manager.

- Develop best practices, templates, and frameworks to ensure that operational methods are uniform and easily scalable.

- Conduct regular process reviews and updates to adapt to evolving business needs and external changes.


2. Methodology Implementation:

- Develop and implement methodologies for process improvement, such as Lean, Six Sigma and automotive product development cycle.

- Ensure that methodologies used are aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

- Provide guidance on selecting the most appropriate methods for specific business challenges and projects.


3. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

- Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process enhancement and establish a culture of continuous improvement.

- Use quality-driven data analysis and root cause methodologies to pinpoint inefficiencies and recommend solutions like poke-yoke to streamline the process. Improve by 50% quality/efficiency


4. Training and Development:

- Ensure all documentation produced are accessible and easily understandable using the A2MAC1 training system

- Train and mentor employees on process improvement methodologies and tools to build internal capabilities in the four hubs.

- Adapt for his/her process the A2MAC1 Competencies Certification Program

- Develop training materials, workshops, and guides to enhance understanding of new processes/tools and improvement techniques.

- Support teams in adopting new processes and methods, ensuring a smooth transition and full comprehension.


5. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with Product and production managers (Hubs and services) to understand their process needs and ensure alignment with company goals.

- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to foster collaboration and gather input for process design.

- Communicate complex process and methodology concepts clearly to all stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and understanding.


6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Define performance baseline per vehicle and hub, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for process: cost, quality, lean time, safety.

- Regularly assess the effectiveness of processes and methods through data analysis, audits, and performance reviews.

- Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management on process improvements and outcomes.


7. Process Innovation and Best Practices:

- Keep up to date with the latest trends and innovations in process management, tools and improvement methodologies. (e.g.: technology fairs and conferences)

- Benchmark internal processes against industry standards and recommend new tools, technologies, or practices.

- Introduce innovative solutions to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product/service quality and/or safety.


8. Risk Management and Compliance:

- Ensure all processes and methods comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.

- Identify risks related to process inefficiencies or non-compliance and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Working with local certification authorities to ensure that standardized processes, infrastructure and tools are aligned with regulations.

Requirements

o Engineering degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years confirmed experience in process improvement/management activities and project management. Previous experience within the company (X years at least) (in case of external recruitment, a period of 6 months training in the related domain will be mandatory)

o Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement initiatives and implementing standardized methodologies.

o Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing change at different organizational levels.

o A previous experience in the related domain would be an asset

o Professional English (B1 level)
