Job Description
The Chief Data and Analytics Office is responsible for building enterprise-scale, cutting-edge platforms for Data Management & Analytics and AI/ML Operations that are used firm-wide by the JPMC workforce for Artificial Intelligence (including generative AI)/Machine Learning (AI/ML) development and Data Management.
As a Data Privacy Product Manager- Executive Director within our organization, you will understand, formulate and execute well designed, user friendly, product feature builds that encompass Data Privacy governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Firmwide Privacy Office, Legal, Compliance, business units, and Engineering you will spearhead Data Privacy Management product builds and ensure they align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Additionally, you will manage the delivery of risk and control issues, action plans, control processes, and preparations for audits and regulatory examinations. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a complex global organization, defining the strategic roadmap and delivering cross-functional initiatives that enhance our data Privacy capabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating Privacy regulations and fostering a culture of data protection, while developing and managing our Firmwide Privacy platform and product offerings.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of data privacy-focused product strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's privacy goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners in the Firmwide Privacy Office, Lines of Business, Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance to enhance the firm's ability to identify, assess, and respond to data privacy challenges and opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for data privacy products, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Support the design and implementation of data privacy governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, GLBA, and other global privacy standards.
  • Lead projects to enhance the organization's data privacy posture, including the development of new privacy-focused products and features.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organization's data-driven initiatives and privacy goals.
  • Support audits and assessments related to data privacy and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports and presentations to senior management and relevant stakeholders on data privacy initiatives and products.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 10+ years of p roven experience in product management, with a focus on data Privacy governance.
  • Strong understanding of global privacy laws, including GDPR, GLBA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing products that deliver compliance with Privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design and data analytics.
  • Proven experience in product management at an executive level, within a large organization.
  • Practical and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience working within a privacy-focused product organization.
  • Familiarity with the three lines of defense model.
  • Privacy certifications such as CIPM or CIPP.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of data protection technologies and best practices.
