Product Engineer , Filtration
Job Responsibility:
1. As a Product Engineer, he/she shall acts as product expert and leads the development and performance of the products to ensure that they are functioning according to quality and cost expectations.
2. Applying mechanical engineering principles to develop products (e.g., Filter Press, Vertical Filters, HBF, Drum & Disc Filters Hydraulic Systems etc.)
3. Advise on the solution/equipment / product to use while proposing a client solution
4. Participate in design work and product customization
5. Assist operations with manufacturing problems and implementation of low cost sourcing
6. Troubleshoot complex problems related to manufacturing and activities that occur on site
7. Adjust optimal technical solutions to each specific project to fulfill customer needs and requirements
8. Stay informed about competitors’ products / solutions and client needs to enable prompt and correct adaption of product functionality
9. Develop systems/improves methodology/systems to minimize/prevent technical problems with the overall aim to improve technical performance
10. Represent and support both the global as well as regional interests while ensuring complete compliance on FLS guidelines
11. Participates actively in team environment and contribute to successful completion of team goals
12. Expect to travel to meet customers & suppliers for technical discussions / inspection / trouble shooting
What you bring
Education: B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 6 years in Filtration Equipment design (Filter Press, HBF, Disc/Drum Filters). Site exposure in solving technical issues is an added advantage
Tools: 5+ years in SolidWorks & AutoCAD (Analysis software preferred).
Technical: Strong background in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Material Science.
Soft Skills: Negotiation-level English; strong visualization and problem-solving abilities.
Mobility: Open to site visits for technical troubleshooting and customer support.
