With guidance from business leadership, build, launch and scale web, newsletter and subscription news experiences and products in ways that delight our audience of the VCs, founders, operators and students who live and breathe tech – and also for tech enthusiasts everywhere

Team up with engineering and design to execute upon the product strategy, own requirements, curate the backlog with the right user stories and ensure on-time delivery with high quality

Prioritize the work of the team and make smart decisions about what to build with each sprint

Report regularly on progress to stakeholders

With business leadership, define and measure product success and quality metrics. Use key performance indicators to focus and prioritize the highest impact efforts.
About You
-
You have 3+ years experience as a Product Manager, building media, digital consumer products, digital publishing and/or digital advertising products with a strong track record of driving user and revenue growth

As a product manager, you focus your team using great listening skills, your influence, and crisp, effective communication
-
You complement these skills with web and mobile technical knowledge and Agile software development experience that makes you a credible product owner and informs your judgment regarding timelines, scope, quality, priorities, and tradeoffs

You are the expert on how to break down large, complex initiatives into well-defined, manageable releases, and have an ability to use data to inform your judgment

Experience working with a geographically distributed team, including US and EMEA-based team members

Familiarity with Confluence/Jira, WordPress, Hubspot, Bizzabo or similar CMS. Experience with mail delivery CRM and Event technology solutions would be welcome.
