As a Product Manager - Adaptive Planning, you'll collaborate with Workday’s business Product Owners, customers, partners, development teams including architecture, consultants, operations, and product teams to understand their desired business outcomes and priorities. You'll also work closely with product development teams through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of the product to ensure its quality and successful delivery on-time.
Other responsibilities include:
Defining product vision, strategy and roadmap, including the underlying technical capabilities.
Driving solution design for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture, and business outcomes.
Guiding the product teams towards high value OKRs.
Supporting education and adoption of platform features by internal development teams.
Coordinate and align solution design across multiple scrum teams operating in a sophisticated distributed software environment.
Communicate and evangelize the product area among the Workday community and at Workday events.
Lead technical discussions with key internal and external stakeholders / customers.
About You
You are customer-centric and understand the business value our solutions provide. You are an initiator, early adopter, and technology enthusiast. You collaborate across multiple engineering teams to deliver features, and you’re able to change direction quickly based on new information.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of Product Management experience
2+ years authoring product requirement documents and driving delivery with product development in Agile/Scrum methodology
3+ years working with design teams to understand & deliver on user experience goals for the product
BS/BA required, preferably technical
Other Qualifications
Experience delivering features impacting millions of users
Background in data science and machine learning
Comprehensive understanding of planning use cases
Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate all planning aspects from defining roadmaps to managing product delivery objectives
