OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

- Product Manager, Vaccines will provide marketing and brand management support to VBU India & Sri Lanka. Incumbent will primarily drive business growth through various marketing actitities to drive higher vaccination rates (VCR) among the paediatric and adult population.
- The incumbent will be developing and executing the launch strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams for successful launch of vaccine
- Product Manager, Vaccines will work closely with Medical, Sales (Private - Paeds, Adult), DD&T, Business Intelligence, Compliance, Legal, Finance and external Agencies
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to the launch plan, while leading pre-launch and developing marketing strategies, campaigns, and messaging to support the vaccine launch in India & Sri Lanka.
- Drive brand aspirations by developing and executing robust marketing strategies and tactics aligned with local, regional, and global brand direction
- Develop deep understanding of HCP, therapy, and key patient needs; analyze the local market to identify and drive commercial opportunities
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to drive marketing initiatives, including new campaigns basis the time to time release
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders-including Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Regulatory-to deliver projects from concept to execution
- Build and drive integrated omnichannel strategy for HCPs for augmentation and end-to-end digital journey in collaboration with DD&T team
- Design and drive the lead and lag KPIs for marketing initiatives and campaigns for the field
- Coordinate with the field force to gather insights on sales trends, business developments, competitive activity, consumer behavior, and market feedback
- Jointly manage KOL identification and engagement with Medical and Sales; implement a national KOL plan and build strong, compliant relationships based on trust and influence
- Spend sufficient time in the field to follow up on the implementation of the tactical plans and to gather new insights and feedback for future brand plans and provide relevant feedback to sales, medical and the broader organization
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Must have Master's degree in Pharma: MBA Preferred
- Around 8 years of experience in pharma - brand management role, preferably vaccines
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, initiative, creativity and proven-track record for innovation
- Organizational and project management skills, ability to work on multiple and often diverse areas and to prioritize effectively
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams without direct authority internally and externally with key stakeholders
- Have a strong governance mindset to assess potential risks for the performance and ensure a solid mitigation plan and performance tracking in place
- Launch experience is preferred
