About the Role

We are hiring a Product Marketing Analyst to lead product, pricing, and competitive research. This role will provide the insights that shape go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and product roadmap. You will research competitor capabilities, pricing, market trends, and then translate those findings into clear, actionable recommendations that drive roadmap and differentiation. The ideal candidate has strong research and writing skills, thrives on collaboration across functions, and can distill complex findings into concise, compelling insights.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed product and feature comparisons across competitors for multiple product lines.

  • Track and summarize competitor capabilities, integrations, pricing, and positioning.

  • Maintain internal competitive research summaries to support Product Marketing Managers.

  • Research relevant state, local, and federal regulations that affect each product line.Track changes in the policy landscape and assess potential impacts on product adoption and positioning.

  • Conduct win/loss analysis using data from Salesforce and call recordings from Gong.

  • Create monthly summaries for each product line that identify themes across wins/losses by product, segment, or competitor to inform product roadmap and pricing strategies.

  • Create and maintain internal briefs, slides, and enablement materials for cross-functional teams.

  • Update Guru with the latest competitive intelligence, market context, and product insights.

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in product research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence, ideally in B2B software.

  • Proven ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data sources and synthesize insights into actionable takeaways.

  • Experience with CRM systems and call analysis tools (e.g., Gong) to extract insights that guide roadmap direction.

  • Strong writing, communication, and organization skills; able to manage multiple inputs and deliver concise recommendations.

  • Experience collaborating across global or distributed teams.
