Position: Product Owner 3

Experience: 5 years to 7.5 years

Job Location: Chennai

Min: 4+ years of experience in Scrum Master / Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst / Product Owner.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver exciting, customer-centric experiences, working closely with your scrum team other analysts, solution designers and engineering designers to identify the best solution.
  • Create and own user stories using analysis techniques such as BDD and INVEST
  • Be an active participant in scrum ceremonies, working with the scrum team to define and understand the goal of each sprint to aid sprint planning.
  • Provides the scrum the requirement context, ensuring they are clearly understood to aid with prioritisation, estimation, and identification of themes/gaps.
  • Maintain the scrum team backlog, keeping it up to date with the latest scope and prioritise
  • Proactively work with team to identify cross team dependencies.
  • Works closely with the Squad to provide guidance, provide insight and give feedback quickly, while also responsible for final decisions on product functionality
  • Communicates progress to relevant stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Works closely with the Scrum Master to ensure that delivery is on track, and manage any prioritisation trade-offs that may need to be made during delivery
  • Demo deliverables to the internal technology teams and to the business stakeholders articulating the requirement and value delivered
  • Work with your scrum team, technology support and the business to identity, prioritise and resolve defects or bugs
  • Is a contributor to continuous improvement, identifying improvements to ways of working and the creation of best practices through the identification of reusable assets.
  • Is actively learning new analysis skills, tools and techniques.
  • Supports other team members in both process and content knowledge development.
  • Supports the Senior Product Analyst in team development activities and initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary.
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.
  • May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action.
  • Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal IT and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
  • Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.
  • Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
