Role Purpose
This role supports the European Product Planning & Marketing organization by providing analytical studies, product competitiveness insights, Product specification management, and digital tooling support.
The position ensures that product assumptions, configurations, and commercial specifications are accurate, consistent, and ready for market deployment across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Product Planning & Competitiveness
- Prepare product milestone materials including:
- Product Value Competitiveness analysis
- Charts, competitive landscapes, and benchmarks
- Detailed market pricing assumptions analysis and summaries
- Support country mix, pricing, volume, positioning assumptions
- Conduct regular product and competitor reviews and ad‑hoc studies
Product specification specialist
- Create and maintain Product specifications in Nissan internal IT systems for AMIEO
- Build Product specifications based on approved buildable configurations, market restrictions, regulations.
- Update Product specifications following product changes.
- Act as key point of contact (Markets) for all Product specifications content
Coordination & Knowledge Management
- Act as first‑level Product and Marketing helpdesk for markets and HQ
- Maintain structured product and benchmark libraries
- Answer basic product and specification FAQs
Digital, AI & Visualization
- Support AI tool reviews, recommendations, and simple agent development
- Prepare Power BI dashboards for product, competitiveness, and management reporting
Launch Support
- Support Trial cars ordering, allocation, and data readiness for launch events
Required Skills & Experience
- Educational qualification: B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) or B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)
- 3–6 years of experience in Product Planning, Product Marketing, Business Analysis, or Market Intelligence
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large datasets
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Power BI experience (strong advantage)
- Systematic, structured, and detail‑oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
- Good business‑level English
- Automotive industry experience is a strong plus
Working Model
- Role based in India
- Regular interaction with European teams (time‑zone overlap required)
